In 1962, drummer Jim Marshall started his first shop in London. Initially he sold drum accessories, but after being prompted by guitarists Ritchie Blackmore and Pete Townshend, he entered the amplification business. The first prototypes were assembled in 1963, and it’s pretty safe to say that the rest is rock history. Icons like Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young and Randy Rhoads all put their trust in a “wall of Marshall’s”, and aspiring guitarists will continue to do so for generations to come. This Pack is dedicated to The Father of Loud: Jim Marshall.
