We arrived to the festival in a white Toyota Avensis. Not very heavy metal, so we felt an urge to make up for it at the gaming tables. We hooked up our gear in the beer tent and immediately the game was on.
Later in the evening we met up with Biff Byford of Saxon. What an awesome dude! He was super nice to us and we did a short interview where he shared some cool tour stories with us. Afterwards we met Mille Petrozza of Kreator, who is a huge Rock Science fan. He told us that he plays the regularly with a close circle of metal friends. It's so cool to hear shit like that.
The gaming was on until midnight, then we headed for the VIP area where we nailed a final Fishshot before bedtime.
We woke up a bit hung-over, but pulled ourselves together and headed back to the site Saturday morning. The annual football tournament took place right beside our booth which gave us a great spot to watch the games. The highlight of the day was of course when Millencolin guitarist Mathias Färm (Photo: Torbjörn Söderberg) wore a Rock Science t-shirt on stage.
We'll be back in 2015, no doubt!
